About me

I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space to support clients to process and make sense of their feelings and experiences. Through therapy, I aim to enable clients to manage any difficult emotions or unhelpful behaviours that might impact on their relationships or wellbeing.

I work integratively drawing on therapies such as CBT, ACT and CFT to empower clients to take steps towards overcoming there past or current challenges and becoming the best versions of themselves. I am also EMDR trained and have experience of working with current and historic trauma. I also draw on systemic thinking to support clients to understand their experiences from within the systems and structures they live in now or have interacted with in the past.

I prefer to work with clients for as long as is needed to achieve the goals they have but can also work in a time-limited way if needed.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
