About me
You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, heartbroken, or unsure of where life is taking you. Perhaps you have been carrying unspoken worries for too long, or you keep finding yourself in the same situations, the same kinds of relationships, the same self-criticism, the same dead ends, without knowing why. In our work together, you will have a space to lay it all down: the messy, confusing, and painful parts, without fear of judgment. Therapy with me is not about "fixing" you. It is about understanding you.
I work with Transactional Analysis, an approach built on a simple idea: the patterns that trouble us now were usually learned a long time ago, and we replay them without realising. Together, we'll explore the roles you've learned to play, the stories you have been told about yourself, and the automatic reactions that take over under stress; then decide which ones you want to keep and which are ready to change. We will untangle what is holding you back so you can reconnect with yourself and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Who I work with
I work with adults navigating life transitions, difficult relationships, anxiety, low self-worth, and questions of identity, including the quieter struggles that are hard to name: feeling like an outsider, carrying your family's expectations, or living between cultures. I particularly welcome clients exploring cultural identity, expats, and third culture adults who find that "where are you from?" has never had a simple answer.
I also work with couples. If the same argument keeps coming back in different clothes, one of you pushing, the other pulling away, both feeling unheard, we slow things down enough to see what's happening underneath, so the same fight stops running your relationship.
What working with me is like
I offer both depth and practicality: we can go into the emotional roots of what is troubling you while also focusing on small, meaningful shifts you can start making now. We work at your pace, and I will meet you exactly where you are.
Sessions are available in person and online, weekly, lasting 50 minutes.
Getting started
The hardest part is usually the first message. We'll begin with a free 15-minute call; a relaxed, no-obligation chance to talk about what's bringing you to therapy and see whether we feel like a good fit. If anything on this page resonates, I'd be glad to hear from you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute, one of the UK's leading psychotherapy training institutes, where I am now in the last stage of advanced clinical training. I am a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and my work is supported by regular clinical supervision.
I also hold an MSc in Mental Health Studies from King's College London and a BSc in Psychology and Language Sciences from University College London.
My clinical experience includes working with adults and couples, in person and online, across private practice, higher education, and low-cost therapy services.

Additional information
I believe cost shouldn't be the thing that stands between you and therapy, so I hold a small number of reduced-fee spaces for those on a low income, including students, trainee counsellors, keyworkers, and anyone currently unemployed. Availability of these spaces varies, so please do get in touch and ask; I'm always happy to have an open conversation about what's workable.
