About me
Sometimes in life, even the simplest task can feel overwhelming. Getting through your day can be as much as you can hope for. This can be because of a number of reasons, including your past experiences. Therapy can be a lifeline to enable you to do more than just function, but to actually reach a point where you are living your life to the full.
I am a trauma-informed psychotherapeutic counsellor. In my practice, I offer a safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space for you. I bring warmth, energy, creativity and openness to my therapeutic work, understanding that each individual is unique. I can provide support for clients with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, those who experienced trauma, supporting clients who are neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD), issues around self-esteem and self-worth, identity, gender and sexuality, sense of belonging, multicultural upbringing, life transitions, relationships, loss (including pregnancy loss), grief, existential themes and more.
I tailor my approach to best suit your needs, always respecting your pace, whether it's a gentle or more challenging way of working. I am a humanistic integrative counsellor.
Our counselling sessions will be a collaborative process, where your feedback and dialogue about our work together will always be welcomed and encouraged. I work relationally, which means that I pay attention to how we interact during sessions.
I am neurodivergent affirmative and have experience in working with adults who have or are seeking diagnosis for ADHD and Autism.
I work holistically, combining theories and techniques from Person Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis to help you gain more self-awareness and connect with all of you: your thoughts, feelings, body, past and present.
Please get in touch to arrange a first session at a reduced rate. We can meet and see how we can work together. There is no obligation to continue after the first session.
Training, qualifications & experience

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
