About me

I am passionate about what I do and know just how powerful talking through things can be a means of helping people find a way through the challenges that life throws at us.

I offer a time out and give people space to talk, to reflect on their difficulties and/or anxieties and to explore self development, where nothing is too trivial. I know that given the right conditions people can to heal themselves by finding different ways of looking at the issues that are of concern and can become personally resilient. By facing things, often together, we can develop ways to improve general Wellbeing.

Individual Therapy

Are you having emotional difficulties that you can’t understand how to get past or manage? Or do you just feel that talking through some challenges with a trained and non-judgemental professional to help you make clearer and potentially better decisions? As a qualified and experienced counsellor, I offer a safe and comfortable environment for you. I walk with you in exploring those difficult thoughts and feelings helping you to face current and future challenges more successfully.

Couples Counselling

As a qualified Relationship & Couples Counsellor with Relate, I understand how important it is for couples to find a lasting solution to challenges they both experience in their relationship. Having worked with a diversity in relationship counselling , I work with couple to develop awareness to their points of conflict thereby finding lasting solutions to resolving challenging situations together.

Listening to own needs an Individual or part of a couple

Sometimes, it can be a struggle to keep emotional conflicts at bay. This perhaps are nature’s way of triggering and leading people to seek a needed inner calm and peace within themselves or in their relationships.

Counselling offers that journey to finding resolutions and answers to unsettling and/or unhealthy thought patterns which can prove difficult to deal with alone . It can help find ways to better relate with self and others towards achieving fulfilling relationships. It is where everything falls into place and people can start to reach out to attain, sustain and enjoy an improved quality of life.

In essence, everyone is endowed with potential qualities that makes life fulfilling and enjoyable. In such, challenging life experiences including difficult situations can deny a person from knowing who they truly are or how to behave within their relationships.

A Commitment to Discover

In life, being unexpectedly caught up with not knowing how best to resolve hurtful feelings from past experiences can feel frustrating and stressful. It can hinder a person from experiencing wholeness even at their best.

Committing oneself to come for counselling is often a big decision to make and finding the right person to work with can sometimes feel uneasy. I respect this and I take great care in ensuring that you feel safe, respected and valued.

I offer flexibility of short or long term therapy which can be tailored round your needs. I adhere to the ethics & codes of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
