About me

I am passionate about what I do and know just how powerful talking through things can be a means of helping people find a way through the challenges that life throws at us.

I offer a time out and give people space to talk, reflect on their difficulties and anxieties, and explore self-development, where nothing is too trivial. I know that given the right conditions, people can heal themselves by finding different ways of looking at the issues of concern and becoming personally resilient. By facing things, often together, we can develop ways to improve general Well-being.

Individual Therapy

Are you having emotional difficulties that you can't understand how to get past or manage? Or do you feel that talking through some challenges with a trained and non-judgemental professional to help you make more precise and potentially better decisions? You may well be at a place where exploring how you feel, your thoughts and emotions bring much more fulfilment than you've ever experienced in life.

As a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Therapist, I offer a safe and comfortable environment for you. I walk with you to explore those disturbing thoughts and feelings, helping you face current and future challenges more successfully.

Couples Counselling

As a qualified Relationship & Couples Counsellor, I understand how important it is for couples to find a lasting solution to challenges they both experienced in their relationship. Having worked with diverse relationship systems in relationship counselling, I work with a couple to develop an awareness of their points of conflict, thereby finding lasting solutions to resolving challenging situations together.

IAPT Couple’s Counselling for Depression

I work with couples where one or both deal with anxiety and or depression underlying other complex issues. I offer skills and opportunities to learn how to change behaviour to self and each other while learning to use the relationship between individuals as a resource to meet their individual and couple’s needs.

Listening to Self needs as an Individual or part of a Couple or Family system

Sometimes, it can be a struggle to keep emotional conflicts at bay, which means we need to hear our own needs.  Life’s given, and challenges are perhaps nature’s ways of triggering and leading a person through fears and concerns associated with human existence (existential anxieties) to seek a needed inner calm and peace within themselves or their relationships.

I walk with you through Counselling in that journey to finding resolutions and answers to underlying unsettling and unhealthy thought patterns, which can prove challenging to deal with alone. The result can help find ways to better relate with self and others towards achieving fulfilling relationships. It is where everything falls into place, and you can start to reach out to attain, sustain and enjoy an improved quality of life.

In essence, everyone is endowed with potential qualities that make life fulfilling and enjoyable. But then, challenging life experiences, including difficult childhood experiences and situations, can deny a person from knowing who they truly are or how to behave within themselves or their relationships.

A Commitment to Discover You

I am committed to supporting you in the journey of self-discovery.  In most cases, all that is needed is your right environment, which, when perceived, I patiently endeavour and strive to provide for you.  I know that being unexpectedly caught up with not knowing how best to resolve hurtful feelings from past experiences can feel frustrating and stressful. It can hinder an individual from experiencing wholeness even at their best.

Committing oneself to Counselling is often a big decision, and finding the right person to work with can sometimes feel uneasy. I respect this, and I take great care in ensuring that you feel safe, respected and valued.

I offer the flexibility of short or long term therapy which can be tailored around your needs. I adhere to the ethics & codes of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
