About me

When you are feeling sad, living with depression or anxiety or phobias, life can seem overwhelming. Perhaps you have been diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder or Panic Disorder? Maybe you and your partner are experiencing relationship issues and not getting along?

I am an experienced and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working from my quiet consulting room based in Cleobury Mortimer, near Kidderminster. I also work within corporate settings, schools and clinics.

I offer calm, empathic and non-judgemental therapy to clients and use an integrative approach to assist clients who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioural issues. An integrative approach means that I tailor the therapy so that it is best fit for the person and what they want to achieve within the counselling.

I work with individuals, couples and families either at my Cleobury Mortimer practice or at client's homes for those who are unable to travel. I also work via Skype for those that are unable to attend face to face sessions for whatever reason.

I am able to travel to your workplace, clinic or school and also work alongside Employee Assistance Providers.

I offer a free initial assessment to all clients, giving you the opportunity to fully explore whether counselling is right for you before you book your first session.

Because I feel that counselling should be available to everyone, I also offer reduced fees for those with low incomes, please give me a call for further details.

Now offering Rewind Therapy - an effective and short term therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Phobias - please call for more details!

Training, qualifications & experience

I gained a BSc (Hons) in Counselling Psychology, Diploma in Counselling along with a HND in Psychology & Cognitive Therapy from Oxford College. I hold Graduate Based Registration with the British Psychological Society, Senior Accredited Membership of The National Counselling Society and am fully insured with a current DBS check.

I have recently completed the 'Rewind' training course and can now offer this to clients - please call for details.

I have experience of counselling in a wide range of areas including Life Crisis, Bereavement, PTSD, Trauma, Relationship problems, Addiction, Low Self Esteem, Terminal Illness, Depression (incl Post & Antenatal), Panic Attacks, Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation and Anxiety. I undertake work for Employee Assistance Providers covering the Midlands areas, take referrals from Collaborative Law Firms and work as a Tutor on a variety of Counselling and Psychology Courses.

I also provide corporate workshops tailored to your requirements, please contact me for further details.
