UKCP Registered Level 7 Psychotherapist; Trauma Therapist
Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG9

About me

I have 20 years experience which spans the NHS, the charity sector, and private practice. This range means I’ve worked with most of what brings people to therapy. However my deeper specialist expertise is primarily focused in the following areas: complex trauma, bereavement and loss, eating-related issues, and anxiety.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on what actually fits you - whether that's Somatic modalities, Attachment-based relational therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) / parts work, EMDR standalone techniques or Energy Psychotherapy.

The approach emerges from your needs, not a fixed protocol. My style is collaborative and grounded. The goal isn't just to feel better in the room, it's to leave therapy equipped to navigate life's challenges long after we've finished.

I'm particularly drawn to working with people who haven't found traditional talking therapy helpful. If you're neurodivergent, if previous therapy felt like it missed something essential, or if you need a different way in, then I may be a good fit. My consulting room is set up for creative approaches, and if a cat curled up nearby would help you settle, mine are happy to oblige.

I understand that reaching out can feel hard. Over the years clients have consistently told me they felt I was genuinely alongside them, supporting, not judging, and advocating when required.

In addition to completing a four year Masters degree in Integrative Psychotherapy, I am registered with the UKCP and abide by their code of ethics. My work also involves supervising other psychotherapists’ clinical practice which ensures I am consistently thinking rigorously about what does and does not help.

My premises are based closed to Beeston (NG9) with good access to transport links. Free on site parking is available.

I also offer a free initial phone / video / in person consultation (up to 20 minutes) where we can both get a sense of whether working together feels right.
