About me

During this time of uncertainty it is essential that we all care for our mental health and have access to the support we need.

This is why I will be offering telephone, or video sessions (Whatsapp , Zoom link or Skype) to those who wish to access my services during this difficult period.

When Lockdown Allows I am also offering Outdoor Walking Therapy & Nature Connection.

I will also support you to make sure all your sessions are completely confidential where ever you are.

I offer counselling & psychotherapy to support you through wide range of difficulties; Anxiety, OCD, Abuse, Depression, Loss & Bereavement, Separation & Divorce, Affairs & Betrayal, Issues around Adoption, Infertility, Addiction(s), PTSD, Childhood Trauma, ADHD, Asperger's, Sexual Abuse, Work/Life stress, Long Term Illness, Dissociation, Bereavement, Sexual Identity...

Being able to talk to a non-judgemental counsellor in a safe confidential environment can be a very therapeutic experience, allowing difficulties to be unpacked, worked through and resolved.

As a fully qualified and experienced integrative counsellor with over 14 years experience in mental health. I draw on my knowledge of psychodynamic talking therapy, attachment focused therapy, cbt, relational therapy, mindfulness, eco - psychotherapy (nature based) and creative art people of all ages.

Within my practice I believe strongly in the relationship that can be built between the therapist and client/s as being the most important ingredient in the therapeutic relationship. If you decide that I am the right counsellor for you, we will work together with whatever you bring, with the understanding that we will not simply examine the problem/issue in isolation but as a part of your world, seeing it in the wider context of your life and history.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
