About me
I am an accredited psychotherapist and counsellor who is based in the Kensington, Nottinghill, Bayswater area of central London.
I am Accredited by the UKCP and BACP and Certified by The European Association of Psychotherapy.
I meet and talk with people who, maybe like you, want to change how they feel. Often the specifics of the difficulty might not be apparent, but the unhappiness or anxiety is. My work with my clients can be about surfacing what’s going and helping clients process their feelings to reach a happier, more settled place. You don't need to have worked out what is going on for you; that would be our work together.

Often clients just feel there is something wrong, without knowing exactly what it is.
Specifically, I have worked, amongst other subjects, with trauma, anxiety, stress, feeling sad, depression, trauma, family difficulties, relationship issues, major life changes (bereavement, retirement, loss or change of job), sense of identity, relational issues, bullying, abuse (violent, sexual, emotional), neglect in upbringing, family issues, dissatisfaction, and a feeling of being numbed, out of touch with one’s emotions.
Who am I?
Before becoming I worked in business and still do some consulting and coaching to businesses. My love and understanding of what it is to be human in both our personal and work contexts motivates me in my work.

My Kensington / Nottinghill practise is near Nottinghill tube station (Central, District and Circle lines) and Kensington High Street tube station (Circle and District lines) plus many bus routes.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified accredited psychotherapist. I hold a Clinical Diploma and MSc. in Psychotherapy and Psychodynamic Counselling. Clinical means my training included a large amount of face to face client work, and psychodynamic refers to how we interact with each other in ways often outside of our consciousness, and often shaped by our earlier lives.
I trained at the Metanoia Institute.
Over the years I have worked as a counsellor at various counselling services; MIND, EACS, MCPS.
I am an accredited member of The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am certified by the European Association of Psychotherapy.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
