About me

Hello, my name is Juan Moreno and I am a professionally trained and qualified Systemic psychotherapist and counsellor (MA, Msc, UKCP, HCPC) offering Individual, Couples and Family therapy.

As a systemic psychotherapist, I draw on the philosophy that as human beings, we have an innate creative wisdom - a capacity to overcome our problems and cope with difficult situations.

In our work together, it is my aim to help you see your situation more clearly and to begin to identify thoughts and behaviours that both help and hinder your current situation.

Ultimately, the goal of therapy is to support you in developing a growing awareness of your self and your relationships with others. It is in this awareness, that the potential to change lies, as you begin to identify outmoded ways of behaving that no longer meet your needs.

I work flexibly, sometimes seeing individuals, children, parents or couples on their own, and, at other times, part of the whole family.I work on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period always with a clear shared goal and regular reviews of the nature and direction of the therapeutic relationship.

I am a fully qualified (MA), UKCP registered systemic psychotherapist and counsellor.
