About me

Welcome.

People say I am a good listener, both for shorter and longer periods of time.
Therapy is a kind of journey, so I treat it as an adventure. I find this approach can be helpful as it can help navigate some of the most difficult problems without losing either hope or dignity. Yes, there can be tears along the way, but there is also much laughter and humour which are the things that get all of us through. You may be pleasantly surprised by how often these come up!

I have a number of tools and modalities that we can work with, Whichever ones I draw upon depends on what comes up in the therapy and your preferences. I have trained in a number of methods that use creativity, immagination and dreamwork.

However, these do not always fit well with certain kinds of mental illness. In such circumstances, I have found I am good at holding clients through such issues such as anxiety and depression. So I am happy to take on people needing help through such things, and is appropriate.

I also offer a brief phone call (Max half hour) before doing an assessment to discuss general logistics. I look forward to hearing from you,
