Attending a counselling session for the first time can be a big step and I appreciate that you might feel anxious or nervous about what might happen, this is why I hold an initial consultation with no obligation to continue.
There may be times when you need support and the art of listening is the first step in helping someone through difficult periods in their life. Counselling is non-judgmental time when you can discuss your problems in confidence within a safe environment.
As an experienced therapist I will help you to have increased understanding of your thinking, feelings and behaviour. This greater awareness will enable you to decide on the changes that you would like to make and achieve in your life.
I provide supportive counselling suitable for individuals, couples, families (18+) and groups using the theories and approaches Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapy and Family Systemic counselling.
