If you are feeling stuck, confused or maybe have specific issues or problems in your life that need addressing; talking to a trained professional can help.
I am a Person Centred Counsellor providing one to one adult therapy. I will work with you to achieve greater self awareness and I will support you as you find your own way out of difficulties and so move towards a more fulfilled life.
I chose to train to be a counsellor because personally I have had very positive experiences receiving counselling. I wanted very much to help others in the same way and so embarked on training to become a qualified counsellor.
I can provide a safe, confidential space, will listen without judgement, be honest and help you guide yourself through the difficulties that you may be facing. At your own pace, with my support, you can learn to untangle confused thoughts, face difficult thoughts and emotions and find your way to a happier, clearer life.
Home visits can also be considered.

Introduction to Counselling Skills
I have experience working with clients from a variety of backgrounds and with many different issues.
I have worked as a counsellor at the Well Women Centre in Wakefield from 2010 to 2012. I now practice privately from the Tower Clinic in Cookridge, Leeds.
I am a member of the UKAHPP (UK Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners Ltd)
Areas of counselling I deal with
- Carer support
- Child related issues
- Chronic fatigue syndrome/ME
- Domestic violence
- Eating disorders
- Low self-confidence
- Low self-esteem
- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Personality disorders
Initial session £20.00 (1 hour)
Further sessions £35.00 (1 hour)
I usually see clients weekly, but more often if necessary.
The number of sessions required varies greatly from client to client and is also dependent on the issue/issues involved and the pace in which you feel comfortable to progress.
Sometimes a couple of sessions are enough to enable you to see things more clearly or you may wish to work with me for a lot longer. With this in mind, I tend not to agree on a certain number of sessions from the outset, but allow you to decide this as we work together to resolve your difficulties.
I have a therapy room at the Tower Clinic in Cookrigde, Leeds.
