I believe that we all have the knowledge and resources to: become unstuck, heal, experience life fully and face life’s adversities and joys. However, we may not feel that we are realising this potential and that talking to a counsellor/therapist will help. In my practice I aim to provide a space to explore these issues and concerns and to support you to make sense of them. I will not impose labels on your, but will provide a space of exploration that is supportive and safe.
I am an experienced practitioner who is registered and accredited with two professional bodies. I work with adults and draw upon an integrative training; which enables me to offer a multi-disciplinary, unique and tailored approach to therapy.I see our work together as part of a collaborative process that sees you and your experiences as unique.
I have a lot of experience working with a range of people and mental health issues. I work in way that attempts to honour your experience and to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment to help you explore what brings you to therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work in an integrative and person led way, this means that I aim to honour your experience without imposing labels or assumptions on this. Together we work to understand your experience and to place it within a context that makes sense to you; this might include your development, history, current relationships and/or specific traumas. I will support you in this exploration and draw upon my trainings to help in this process. My trainings enable me to be informed by integrative, existential, psychoanalytic and person-centred approaches.
