Supervision details
Hi there and thank you for visiting my Supervision profile.
I have worked in educational, NHS, charity and private sector settings delivering supervision throughout my career. I aim to provide you with a supportive, collaborative and restorative space, so that you can reflect and grow confidently within your clinical practice.
I originally worked as a long arm supervisor for the University of St Mark and St John, supporting students through Masters Level Youth and Community training and moved into Clinical work in 2008. I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor and qualified in 2014.
I hold a Diploma in Supervision and integrate a range of models including the Hawkins and Shohet 7-eye model as basis of my approach as it recognises the relational and systemic aspects of supervision, which is particularly helpful lens for those working in and alongside organisations.
I have extensive experience of working in a range of settings including mental health/therapy settings, schools (including FE & HE) domestic abuse, young people's services, sexual violence and drug and alcohol support so am sensitive to the systemic aspects of therapeutically complexities of working with safeguarding and risk. I have also provided coaching and supervision to clinical leaders and managers who are seeking to reflect upon and improve their performance within their work setting.
Our work will also be considered within an Anti-Oppressive framework. This means becoming more aware of our own bias so that we can adapt and attend to the impact of power and difference in the therapeutic relationship.
The work we do can often be emotionally challenging and your wellbeing is of paramount importance. I aim for the supervision space to be restorative and compassion focussed and may invite practical, creative and mindfulness activities to help you reflect upon and process the work in a more embodied way.
Wherever you are at on your journey, whether you are in training or qualified, I will tailor supervision to meet your needs and consider the context/modality, level of training and ethical framework in which the work is delivered.
My fee for one hour supervision is £50 1 hour/£70 1.5 hours I offer a reduced rate for counsellors/coaches in training.
I work online on a Monday and Tuesday and face to face Bristol on a Thursday and Friday.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
