Supervision details

I am an Integrative clinical supervisor and I offer supervision to those in private practice, within the NHS, NGO's and Reflective Practice to those in education and companies.

I also offer Reverse Mentoring to those in management and senior leadership roles, and to practitioners who are keen to explore unconscious bias and question cultural issues that present when in contact with those who are culturally different.

I qualified in 2014

Following the 15 minute free consultation, if we decide to work together, sessions will be an hour and charged at £60.00.

Practice description
I have an interest in working with practitioners who support parents with young children with challenging behaviour (aged 3-7yrs) or who identify as having ASD or ASD traits.

Having spent much time working with clients from diverse heritage groups, I welcome the opportunity to work with such practitioners, either themselves with dual heritage or with clients of dual heritage.

I have extensive experience of working with senior leadership team (SLT) members, in helping them address issues that impact their work-life balance, using clear structures, exploration and support. I also offer Reverse Mentoring for members of management, SLT and clinical practitioners. Please contact me for further details.

All work now takes place from my online private practice or on the telephone, as I understand that meeting face to face, traveling, health boundaries and other limitations can bring up their own set of challenges, especially during a time of financial difficulty for many.

 My first session
I offer a free 15 minute consultation.

This is our 15 minute chat which will provide you with an opportunity to ask any questions you may have related to the way I practice as a supervisor, and for us to see if we might be a good match.

If at the end of our chat we decide to work together, I will send you a working agreement to read through, sign and return, then we can set a start date to begin our work.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
