Supervision details

I am a dedicated Therapeutic Supervisor and Integrative Psychotherapist with six years of experience in private practice. I specialise in supporting therapists who work with a wide range of issues, including self-esteem, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and men’s mental well-being. My approach is tailored to help you navigate the complexities of your therapeutic practice, ensuring both you and your clients achieve the best possible outcomes.

My Professional Journey
Since starting practicing in 2018, I have had the privilege of helping numerous clients overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and sleep disturbances where I aim to empower individuals to regain control over their lives and mental well-being. In 2021, I transitioned into private practice, and in 2024, I extended my expertise to supervising other therapists, driven by my commitment to fostering professional growth and excellence in the field.

Academic and Professional Qualifications
My academic journey has been driven by a deep-seated passion for understanding the human psyche and its many facets. I hold an MSc in Psychology and an FDA in Integrative Counselling, qualifications that have equipped me with a broad and deep understanding of human behaviour, cognitive processes, and emotional regulation.

Supervision Style and Approach
As a supervisor, I offer a balanced mix of administrative, educational, supportive, and restorative supervision. I use the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, a robust framework that supports therapists in every aspect of their practice. This model allows us to explore your work from multiple angles, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of your therapeutic interventions and relationships.

Focus on Your Clients and Their Needs: In our supervision sessions, we’ll explore how you can deeply understand your clients' experiences and challenges. This helps you tailor your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs, ensuring you provide the most effective support.

Refining Your Techniques: We’ll reflect on the methods you use in therapy, identifying what works well and where improvements can be made. This process empowers you to continually enhance your skills for better client outcomes.

Building Strong Relationships: Together, we’ll examine the dynamics between you and your clients, focusing on trust, rapport, and boundaries. Understanding these elements helps you create a safe, supportive environment that fosters positive change.

Self-Reflection: We’ll also delve into your thoughts and feelings during sessions, helping you become more aware of how your emotions and biases might impact your work. This self-awareness is key to becoming a more effective therapist.

Collaborative Supervision Relationship: Our work together will mirror the therapeutic relationship, with open dialogue and feedback. This collaboration helps you build confidence and grow professionally.

Reflecting on Supervision: I’ll also share my reflections and reactions during our sessions, fostering a transparent and supportive environment. This ensures our supervision is relevant and responsive to your needs.

Considering the Bigger Picture: We’ll discuss how broader factors like organisational, social, and cultural influences might affect your work. Understanding these contexts helps you navigate the complexities of your practice with greater insight.

This holistic approach will enhance your self-awareness, improve client outcomes, and foster a supportive, reflective learning environment.

Supervision Services
I offer individual supervision sessions tailored to both newly qualified therapists and experienced practitioners. Whether you prefer 60-minute or 90-minute sessions, face-to-face or online, I’ll work with you to meet your specific needs and goals.

Who I Work With
I welcome therapists from all backgrounds and modalities, whether you’re in private practice or working within an agency or organisational setting. My supervision is designed to support you wherever you are on your professional journey.

Philosophy and Values
My supervision philosophy is grounded in open-mindedness, patience, flexibility, empathy, and a genuine willingness to enter yours and your clients world. I take an active role in our relationship, encouraging deep reflection on all aspects of your practice. I’m committed to helping you achieve the best outcomes for both you and your clients, sharing knowledge when relevant, and promoting self-care, self-compassion, and curiosity.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
