Supervisor Emma Dalgleish LLB Dip (Couns) Dip (Play) Dip (Sup) Cert (Hyp) MBACP

I gained my diploma in supervision in 2015 and I have been providing individual and group supervision since that date.
My supervision model of choice is the cyclical model of supervision which provides structure within the session whilst also allowing the supervisee the space to consider hypotheses, link theory to practice, consider ethical and good practice issues and to process the impact of client material in a safe setting.
I use traditional talking methods alongside more creative approaches such as sandtray, objects, cards and stories to encourage counsellors to view their clients, themselves and their practice from a variety of perspectives and by exploring a wide range of techniques and interventions.
I have specialised in providing supervision to counsellors working with survivors of domestic and sexual abuse/violence.
