Supervision details

I have a Post Qualification Diploma in Individual and Group Supervision for Counsellors. Psychotherapists and those in related professions.  I have over 20 years of providing individual and group supervision practice within related professions, to those in the not for profit sector and within Counselling settings. I have experience of supervising experienced practitioners, counsellors, recently qualified and student counsellors. I offer 121 or Group Supervision both in-person and online, all within the context of the BACP Ethical Framework.  My supervision modality is Integrative. For me, supervision is a collaborative relationship based on a spirit of goodwill, equality, mutual trust, respecting difference, being safe and ethical. It is both client and supervisee centred. It enables processing of feelings and ways of working with clients. It is a place of learning, insight, growth, professional development, an opportunity to build on counsellors strengths and to work on learning edges. It is intended to be normative, formative and restorative and a place of goodwill. It is also a place where mistakes can be worked through to enable growth without shame or blame. I hope it is also, enjoyable and celebratory.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
