I have a Post Qualification Diploma in Individual and Group Supervision for Counsellors. Psychotherapists and those in related professions.
I have over 20 years of providing individual and group supervision practice within related professions, to those in the not for profit sector and within Counselling settings. I have experience of supervising experienced practitioners, counsellors, recently qualified and student counsellors. I offer 121 or Group Supervision both in-person and online, all within the context of the BACP Ethical Framework.
My supervision modality is Integrative. For me, supervision is a collaborative relationship based on a spirit of goodwill, equality, mutual trust, respecting difference, being safe and ethical. It is both client and supervisee centred. It enables processing of feelings and ways of working with clients. It is a place of learning, insight, growth, professional development, an opportunity to build on counsellors strengths and to work on learning edges. It is intended to be normative, formative and restorative and a place of goodwill. It is also a place where mistakes can be worked through to enable growth without shame or blame. I hope it is also, enjoyable and celebratory.
