From my own experience, I know how important it is to work alongside the right Supervisor as this working alliance can impact significantly on your confidence, practice and progression as a Therapist. I work supportively, reflectively and with challenge where needed/wanted, with the aim of helping my supervisees to explore case material, maintain ethical standards, develop within their work, grow as a professional and celebrate good practice.
I believe it is essential to bring to sessions, considerations for the impact that personal life and circumstances can have upon work life, not simply viewing the work in isolation. This benefits awareness of self-care needs and work-life balance.
As an integrative therapist I draw upon a wide range of techniques and approaches, underpinned by the therapeutic relationship, to offer a tailored service to the individual client.
And just like my therapeutic work, my approach to supervision is integrative too, working with various relational, developmental, coaching and systemic supervision models to inform my practice.
I offer individual and group supervision to Trainee, newly qualified and experienced Counsellors working in a variety of settings with a wide range of theoretical modalities.
I can offer fixed or flexible sessions on a fortnightly or monthly basis and have morning, afternoon & evening availability. Sessions can be offered in person or remotely.
I work within and uphold the Ethical Framework of the BACP and regularly attend my own clinical supervision for both my therapeutic and supervision practices.
