Supervision details

I am a qualified clinical supervisor offering both individual and group supervision.

My approach is grounded in the belief that the quality of the relationship, both in therapy and in supervision, is central to meaningful change. I aim to offer a steady, supportive space where you can reflect openly on your work, explore both your strengths and vulnerabilities, and feel supported in developing your practice.

Supervision with me is collaborative and relational. I see it as a space not only for reflection, but for shared thinking, learning, and professional growth. Alongside a supportive environment, I will also gently challenge you where helpful, encouraging you to consider new perspectives and deepen your understanding of your clients and yourself as a practitioner.

I work integratively and draw on a range of models, including the Hawkins and Shohet Seven-Eyed Model and the Inskipp and Proctor framework, while remaining guided by the BACP Ethical Framework. Rather than applying theory rigidly, I use these ideas flexibly to support the work we are doing together.

I have experience supervising practitioners in private practice, as well as professionals working within the NHS and the charity sector. I welcome supervisees at different stages of their professional journey.

If you’re looking for a supervisor, I’m happy to arrange an initial conversation to explore whether we might be a good fit.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
