Supervisor Jan Ryan
I supervise two small groups in a voluntary sector setting providing bereavement support, and I have an Ascentis level 3 certificate in supervision. My supervisees are often counselling students on placement. In my supervision work, I draw on my experience as a private counsellor with a thriving practice, as well as fifteen years experience as a lecturer in health and social care. My counselling training was in the psychodynamic and person centred approaches. I have a BSc in psychology and am registerd wtih BACP and am a member of BPS.
I see supervision as a supportive process building self-confidence within the supervisee. I provide a safe and open minded supervision in order to support the supervisee in developing a self-questioning reflective process.
I can offer private, face-to-face individual supervision at Mycenae House SE3 7SE at £50 for an hour's consultation, £75 for an hour and a half.
