Supervision details

I am an integrative counsellor with over 10 years of full time experience in private practice, working with adults and couples.

In 2021, I completed a Diploma in Supervision and I now offer both face to face and online supervision for new and experienced counsellors.

As a supervisor, I adopt a collaborative approach, supporting supervisees in their client work and own personal development, as well as assisting them in establishing and growing their private practices.

I believe it is crucial to provide not only support with client work and ongoing development, but also to cultivate a strong, trusting relationship where you can speak openly and honestly without fear of judgment or making mistakes. Many therapists experience imposter syndrome at times and I am here to help build your confidence, not undermine it.

In addition to regular supervision, I also offer top up supervision ie to cover Supervisor holidays or for Couples work if your usual supervisor doesn’t work with couples

My fees are - £60 for 1 hour or £80 for 1.5 hours.

I offer an initial free chat to talk through what you are looking for in supervision and to see if we both feel we are a good fit. This can be on the phone or a video call for up to 30 minutes.

We can then discuss your needs going forward - I offer flexible days / times to suit.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
