Supervision details
I have always been so inspired by the transformative power of supervision and it's capacity to refresh and energise our caring capacities. As someone who has worked in numerous roles involved in the care and support of fellow humans, I have come to understand that we can become frayed at the edges all too easily. We can become stuck in our work, or confused about our connection with someone amid a complex backdrop. We can struggle to find time for reflective practice- especially with the necessary attention directed towards our own selves as practitioner. This is where supervision carves out the time, space and relationship to really focus on the finer detail of our human craft of being there in the right way for someone else.
I use a variety of theretical models to inform my work, but am guided most strongly by Hawkins and Shohet 7 eyed-model of supervision, which encompases closer focus on all the relational interchanges involved between and surrounding the practitioner and the client or individual.
If you are interested in exploring working together, please don't hesitate to get in touch and take it from there.
