Supervision details
Hello, thank you for stopping by to read this and taking the time to consider me as your supervisor. I believe we can work together in supervision to support a good standard of work. Whatever your need with supervision, we can work together to bring awareness, creativity and inspiration to areas needing help. Supervision is a place to debrief and reflect on working practices and how you feel working with your client base. I qualified over 30 years ago and have worked as a college counsellor and now work in private practice. I work humanistically integrating gestalt person centred and TA. I also work as a CBT therapist. I have a certificate in supervision and work to the BACP ethical standards. I feel blessed every day that I get to work as a counsellor and supervisor. Although I have now stopped teaching I have over 10 years experience teaching counselling and can guide you through training. I believe in the equality of counselling and supervision. I believe that imparting the knowledge I've gained may benefit you. I have worked with young people, couples and individuals. I have also supervised counsellors who work in a church based organisation. I've worked with behavioural issues, mental health problems, self esteem areas and sexual issues and survivors of abuse I have also worked with clients with ADHD and supervised counsellors who work with clients with ADHD. I have supervised those just starting out to those with many years experience. I offer supervision via Zoom WhatsApp Skype or Face Time and telephone. I offer supervision where invoicing is required. My fees are £55 per hour.
I offer a warm inviting confidential environment where we can work openly and honesty using experience, creativity and inspiration in Morley or South Kirkby where there is free parking at both venues.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
