Supervision Services for Counsellors
Welcome! I am a qualified counselling supervisor, offering supervision to qualified counsellors. I supervise work with clients aged 19 and over. I do not provide supervision for client work involving children or those under 18 years of age.
My Approach to Supervision
Supervision is a space for you to reflect on your work with clients, explore your approach, and discuss both successes and challenges. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where your voice is heard, your practice is validated, and your growth is encouraged. Together, we will:
Reflect on your practice from both your perspective and mine.
Explore client work and case management to develop your knowledge and skills.
Review your practice to promote high ethical and professional standards.
Identify ways to manage stress and prevent burnout.
I adhere to the BACP and NCPS Ethical Frameworks, ensuring that you and your clients receive a high standard of care. When necessary, I will gently challenge your thinking to promote deeper reflection and growth.
What You Can Expect
Supervision with me is designed to be:
Normative – promoting ethical practice and professional standards.
Formative – supporting your learning and development.
Restorative – offering a space to offload and reduce the impact of work-related stress.
I believe that supervision should inspire and motivate you, helping you achieve your CPD goals or counselling qualifications. My aim is for you to leave each session feeling supported and equipped with insights that enhance your client work.
Practical Information
I will respond to emails and queries within 24 hours during my working hours. Our work together will be guided by a mutually agreed supervision contract. I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or Zoom to discuss your needs.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
