About me
I offer a warm, collaborative counselling space where therapy is shaped around you as an individual. I practise a pluralistic approach, which means I draw from different therapeutic models depending on what feels most helpful for your needs, personality, and circumstances. This may include elements of person-centred therapy, CBT, and psychodynamic understanding. I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to counselling, and that different people benefit from different ways of working at different times. Together, we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable, review what is helping, and adapt the work as needed. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice and am an accredited registrant member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I have also completed a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People, which has strengthened my understanding of supporting young people and their emotional wellbeing.
I am fully DBS checked and registered with the DBS Update Service. I also hold a current First Aid certificate.
Alongside my qualifications, I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains ethical, safe, and responsive to the needs of my clients.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
