Cutting edge training in couple counselling in Newcastle - updated programme for 2021.

Our couples counselling course has received fantastic feedback from previous delegates and has now been updated for the new programme beginning in September.

The course has been created specifically for trained and experienced therapists, seeking to add the skills and theory of couple work to their existing counselling skill set. Now in its fifth year, this revamped programme places special attention on the power in couple relationships and domestic violence, two aspects of training that are crucial to delivering ethical and professional couple counselling.

Further updates for 2021 explore and understand the impact on relationships of lockdown and how to work with this in couple relationships.

This is a six-module course, delivered over three weekends (six days of six hours), one weekend per month between September 2021 and November 2021, providing 36 CPD hours.

Dates are as follows:

  • Saturday 25th / Sunday 26th September 2021
  • Saturday 16th / Sunday 17th October 2021
  • Saturday 20th / Sunday 21st November 2021

Note: This course does not qualify participants to be agency trained and placement completed couple therapists.

The Saturday training will be delivered at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Jesmond, however, the Sundays may be delivered from Jesmond Therapy Premises, which will be closed to the public.
