Open to nature is a series of group sessions designed to enable adults to connect with the natural world of which we are all a part.

Nature can help us in so many ways. These include becoming: more fulfilled, less anxious, more alive, more confident, less materialistic, less lonely, more connected, more relevant, more healthy, more purposeful and more hopeful...

The series includes five two-hour experiential sessions over as many weeks on a seasonal basis and as demand requires.

Participants will work and play with others in a group of up to but no more than 10.

Facilitated to explore a variety of new approaches, it is hoped that each participant can establish, develop and integrate their personal and emotional relationship with nature; this in turn serving to support them on a daily basis and in times of particular difficulty.

While the approaches are certainly designed to be therapeutic in nature, this is not group therapy.

These sessions will take place at the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust (LWRT) Volunteer Training Centre at Rutland Water.
