These online workshops are aimed at clinicians wanting to enhance and deepen their understanding of working within a short-term attachment based psychodynamic intervention. The workshops will include theory teaching, presentations of clinical case materials as well as the opportunity for participants to discuss and reflect on their own clinical cases.

The spaces will be limited to 21 people and the workshops will be designed at specific skills-building i.e. learning techniques of re-structuring defenses or dynamic emotional regulation techniques. Workshops cannot be booked separately and this is aimed at facilitating the development of a cohesive learning environment as well as facilitate interaction, role-plays, open dialogue and discussion about clinical observations

The materials covered will include:

  • An attachment based psychodynamic clinical interview (Workshop 1).
  • Developing a joint psychodynamic formulation (Workshop 2).
  • Emotional regulation and working with defenses (Workshop 3).

These workshops are only suitable for registered clinicians working in mental health or allied fields. The seminar is also suitable for trainees or professionals (i.e. assistant psychologists) working under the clinical supervision of clinicians registered with an accrediting body. Attendees will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement in order to participate.

CPD certificates will be provided.

Please note - this series of three online workshops (via zoom) is a repetition of the ones offered for Saturday & Sunday between October and December.
