This workshop will appeal to counsellors, therapists, coaches, and students wishing to expand their skills in working with early interventions. The workshop focuses on early intervention following distressful, tragic, overwhelming, tragic or threatening events including disaster. This workshop will explore the following topics;

  • psychological first aid
  • psychological normalisation
  • post-traumatic/crisis stress
  • psycho-education, stress coping mechanisms

Places are limited to ensure quality interactions and discussions.

Costs include refreshments lunch and CPD certificate.

The trainer has over 20 years experience of working with early interventions including terror attacks, murder, and military, and is a registered BACP counsellor, coach, and stress consultant (FISMA).
