Dealing with our self-critical inner voice
A workshop to help understand and start to manage our inner critic using skills from DBT, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
Emotional and mental distress can sometimes have it's roots in a strong self critical/punitive inner voice that berates us and puts us down. This workshop will help participants to understand where their self-critical inner voice comes from and look at different ways of managing this.
The workshop is suitable for all but may be of particular interest to those who have difficulties with eating/food, self-harm, substance misuse and those who find that they push themselves constantly to achieve.
