What my clients are saying:
"I would like to thank you for the recent therapy that I undertook with you. I found you a very empathic listener and felt that you let me express my feelings re issues of my concern in my own way. I found the whole session liberating and rewarding. I was surprised as to how non judgemental you were during the session."
"I Went to see Yvette during a particularly stressful time at work and it was one of the first times I chose a talking therapy. I felt immediately comfortable when I first met Yvette and every session proved very informative and I was beginning to understand how best to deal with my situation. It’s about feeling stronger and then having the confidence to do what’s best for you. It’s always good to talk to your friends and family but sometimes you need help from someone on a professional level even if it’s only a few sessions. I would recommend Yvette to anyone."
I know how difficult it is to face your emotions so I work in a person centred way integrating transformational tools such as CBT, EFT, NLP, SFT, TA, Mindfulness, Meditation and Inner child work.
I worked in a Financial and banking background for many years before I changed my Life path. I have had many difficulties in life such as divorce, trauma and bereavement and I have learnt unique ways through mindfulness and study to empower myself to be the best I can be. I have been in private practice since 2010 and own two businesses, one being a Health and Wellbeing events business. I am passionate about helping people through my shows and help the local community along the way. I aim to help clients facilitate a unique plan so that they can reach their full potential. I have counselled for Southend Councils Early Help Family support unit and for Local Charities.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
