About me

Hi, my name is Yong. I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor currently offering Face to face in central Wakefield, telephone, video call and  Walk & Talk sessions in local parks.
I have availability all through the week, including evenings and weekends so please do ask me.🌸

I often work with struggles around Neurodivergence, relationships and anxiety. Feeling of not fitting in or barriers to feeling worthy. I have experience with issues around prison sentences or impact of a family member being inside.

Training, qualifications & experience

Qualified counsellor with experience working with adults and children 5 and over. Happy to work with all kinds of issues - whatever is bothering you.

My special areas of interest are ND and young adults with their complicated minds, any involvement with the Criminal Justice System and expressions of anxiety.
Within my counselling style I can include play and creative approaches.
I have volunteered during my training and beyond as a counsellor at Leeds City College and in connection with HMP Leeds.
My ethical governing body is NCPS
