About me
I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist offering psychological therapy in Oxford and Witney. I work with adults experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, trauma, work-related stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can speak openly about what feels difficult or stuck. I pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship and to how it feels to work together, as feeling understood and safe is central to meaningful change. Our work is collaborative and shaped around what matters most to you.
I work integratively, drawing on CBT, psychodynamic therapy, CAT, existential-phenomenological and person-centred approaches. Where helpful, we may explore how past experiences influence present patterns, while also developing practical ways of responding differently in the here-and-now. I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have over a decade of clinical experience across NHS, private and charitable services. I hold a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from Regent's University, London, as well as an MSc in Psychology and an MA in Philosophy. I work integratively, drawing on evidenced-based psychological models to support adults with a range of emotional, relational and psychological difficulties. I engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development in line with HCPC and professional body guidelines.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
