About me

I specialise in helping people who are dealing with traumatic life events, and those who feel lost amidst major life transitions. Whether you are navigating a health challenge, coming to terms with a loss, or looking for support around managing stress, I am here to support you.

My approach is first and foremost centred around your needs, your history, and you as a person. I want to help you find yourself and the path forward using evidence based interventions with practical and human guidance.

I have worked with people for many years, supporting them through their own health challenges. I also work regularly with bereavement and grief, particularly traumatic memories relating to a loved ones death. I work primarily with Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion Focused Therapy.

If you think we might be a good fit please contact me via email to arrange a free 20 minute call so we can discuss whether I'm the right clinician to support you at this time.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field of Psychology. Whilst I have experience supporting a wide range of mental health challenges and life circumstances, I specialise in support for those with chronic or acute health conditions, adjusting to life transitions, experiencing grief or bereavement, those who have experienced trauma or PTSD, and people dealing with stress or burnout.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
