Supervisor

Supervision details

I value a supportive supervision relationship where we can challenge each other and grow professionally in a safe space. I believe that supervision should be neuro-affirming, take into account your life experiences and identity as a human being, and work for your clinical and personal life.

My main therapeutic approaches include ACT, CFT, CBT and EMDR. I am not a qualified EMDR supervisor but can recommend many fantastic colleagues. I work in a person centred way and adapt evidence based approaches for the individual’s needs.

My areas of specialism include oncology, health conditions, trauma, child and adolescent mental health, grief and bereavement and burnout. I also have a passion for supporting fellow clinicians avoid and heal from burnout and overwhelm in their practice.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
