About me
You might appear capable, thoughtful, even confident, and yet still carry a sense of pressure or not feeling enough. Perhaps you overthink decisions, have difficulty slowing down, or feel caught between who you are and who you feel you should be. On the outside things may look just fine, while inside you might feel tired, confused, or sometimes disconnected.
Many people might come to therapy because something dramatic has happened in their lives, but also because something no longer feels quite right. You may be holding things together, functioning well, and still feeling unsure of yourself or stuck in old patterns.
My name is Vasiliki and I'm an integrative counsellor offering in person sessions in Shoreditch & Aldgate, and online wherever you are. My aim is to offer a grounded space where you can make sense of what's going on and relate to yourself with more clarity and understanding.
My practice is inclusive and compassionate, welcoming people of all backgrounds and identities. I work in an anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirmative way, offering a safe and respectful space for exploration and growth.
You might be here because…
- You're high-functioning and capable, but often feel anxious, flat, or emotionally drained
- You overthink conversations, choices, or how you come across to others
- You feel pressure to keep going or achieving, even when you're exhausted
- You minimise your struggles because others seem to cope better or have it worse than you
- You're experiencing burnout, loss of direction, or a growing sense of disconnection from yourself and others
- You're noticing recurring patterns in relationships, work, or self-esteem and want to understand them better
- You're navigating questions around identity, belonging, or life transitions
- You don't need to know exactly what you want from therapy. We can always start with what feels most present for you
What therapy with me can feel like
Therapy with me is a space where you don't need to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or arrive with everything worked out. The goal isn't to "fix" you, it's more to explore what feels heavy, confusing, or stuck at your own pace, so you can better understand your patterns, needs, and the different ways you've learned to cope.
Our work will be collaborative and relational. I see therapy as a real, human conversation grounded in trust, curiosity, and respect.
I work integratively, drawing from psychodynamic, person-centred, and solution-focused approaches; which means the work is flexible and shaped around where you are, rather than a set way. Where helpful, I also bring in practical tools to support clients experiencing stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. Walk-and-talk sessions are also available.
Over time, you might notice a softer inner dialogue with less self-criticism, clearer boundaries and a stronger sense of what you need, with a growing sense of steadiness and emotional breathing space.
Areas I often work with
I support adults with a range of emotional and relational concerns, including anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, shame and self-doubt, burnout and workplace stress, and relationship patterns and boundary difficulties.
I also have experience working with the impact of addiction - whether your own or someone else's - on emotional wellbeing and self-perception. I'm currently volunteering as a counsellor in addiction services, and this is an area I work with both practically and relationally. If neurodivergence or ADHD is part of your experience, that's welcome here too; especially the ways it can affect how you see yourself and move through the world.
Taking the first step
Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you're unsure what you need or how to put things into words. You don't have to arrive with a clear goal. Uncertainty is equally welcome, and we can begin wherever feels most manageable.
I usually suggest meeting weekly, at least initially, as this helps create continuity and trust. Therapy can be short-term or open-ended, and we'll review the work together as we go.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. It's simply a chance to connect, ask questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels right (with no pressure to commit).

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
