About me
Hi, Im Tracy.
Deciding to come to therapy can be daunting for some people so its important to make the right decision for you when it comes to choosing a therapist.
If you don’t feel comfortable then you are unlikely to be able to fully address what is troubling you.
I am a fully qualified Accredited Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
I offer a space which is non judgemental that will hopefully feel safe enough for you to be curious about your life and any reasons that have led you to therapy.
I have extensive experience in working with Childhood Trauma, Complex Trauma, Anxiety, Low Mood and Stress.
Due to working as an Integrative Counsellor I use different ways to explore what you decide to bring to therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship which is create by us is a priority in our work which can focus on your present life and links that stem from your childhood.
In the therapy room, we can slow down the noise of life and begin to explore at your pace what you want to be curious about in your life. We can do this by bringing things into awareness that may not be full in available in our conscious mind, I believe working with the unconscious allows us to work at depth to make sense of unhelpful patterns and behaviours that we may have.
Exploring relationships in our lives can often be helpful in the therapy room, it allows us to understand the impact of others upon ours lives and consider where are boundaries lie.
I am a qualified EMDR Therapist. This way of working has supports people who are recovering from trauma and distressing experiences using guided eye movements. This is a treatment used by the NHS and has been highly researched and approved by the world health organisation

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
