About me
Hi!
I am Tracy and I am an experienced, qualified and ethical Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Hypnotherpist and Jungian Life Coach with over 24 years in practice.
I can see you at my own practice in Longfield, Kent or Online. Whichever option you choose, you will be welcomed with warmth & acceptance.
What is therapy?
Therapy is a method of treating perceived difficulties.
There are many different types of therapy and in your initial assessment session I will help you to think through the most appropriate therapeutic approach for your difficulties.
What kind of issues do people see therapy for?
The answer to this question is clearly vast!
Anything that causes distress or concern may prompt someone to enter into therapy. Therapy can also be a means of self discovery with no particular issue in mind. The assessment process is designed to help you understand if therapy is an appropriate route to take.
What happens in therapy?
A therapy session may vary depending upon which issues you bring.
Some approaches will focus on your thoughts, others on your feelings, and others on your behaviours.
The approach that is recommended for you will be discussed with you at your assessment session. It may be that a combination of all of the above approaches will be seen as the most appropriate approach.
For some clients, therapy can be very directive, offering specific suggestions, and for other clients approaches may be more passive and may offer exploration and interpretation of the situation.
Some approaches will request that you complete tasks in between sessions and others will not. But in all cases I will offer a clear explanation of the approach that the process will take.
It is also dependent upon the chosen method of intervention as to whether it is recommended that you have a fixed number of sessions for your treatment or whether you enter into a more open-ended process of therapy.
If you are recommended a fixed amount of appointments there will be a review of the therapy half way through the treatment and another review at the end of treatment. At this point if further goals for change are identified additional sessions may be recommended.

The report will be tailored to the original aim of the referral and if appropriate will make recommendations for the future.
Please contact me to discuss your individual requirements and I will be happy to provide you with a quote for an assessment.
Hypnotherapy
A state of hypnosis is something that we all experience every day when we first wake up and when we are just drifting off to sleep. It is a state of altered awareness. This natural state of being can be utilised to access the subconscious mind and to facilitate changes to thoughts, feelings and behaviours. The approach utilises the same areas of the brain that we use to create dreams and process information as we sleep.
How Hypnotherapy can help you?
The subconscious mind quickly and easily accepts suggestions (in line with the difficulties you wish to change) as the seemingly logical self-talk you may often have that actually hinders change is bypassed.
Physical conditions that are exacerbated by stress responses can also respond incredibly well to a hypnotherapeutic approach.
An assessment session will have a larger proportion of time taking information about your difficulties but will offer twenty to thirty minutes of hypnosis to begin to tackle these.
You will also be provided with a CD of your initial session free of charge to continue to benefit from the work conducted during your appointment.
CDs are available for ongoing sessions at a price of £9.99. You will also be taught self-hypnosis on your first session to allow you to begin to present your own positive suggestions to your subconscious mind.

A specialist legal report will be forwarded to whomever instructed me within the requested timeframe. The content will be in line with the original terms of reference and the specific questions asked.

Life Coaching
Life Coaching explores any targeted area of change you require. Regular coaching models examine the surface thoughts, beliefs and behaviours that are creating your life. They give you tools for change only on a conscious level, which is difficult to maintain. Jungian coaching uses Neuroscience and theory by psychologist Carl Jung to help individuals access the unconscious barriers to change and become their fullest self-expression.
I specialise in Life Purpose, Conscious Parenting and Relationship Formation, Leaving Abusive and Narcissistic Relationships and Female Empowerment.
Spiritual Emergence Coaching
I am a Spiritual Emergence Coach® trained by Integrative Mental Health University (IMHU) to support those challenged by intense psycho-spiritual phenomena.
Examples of these phenomena include: mystical experiences, psychic opening, near-death experience (NDE), kundalini awakening, and shamanic journey. Catalysts for such experiences may include ritual, use of plant medicine and psychedelics, stress, trauma, meditation, and intensive workshops.
Integration of such experiences is key for positive transformation to occur (more peace, happiness, life-satisfaction). As more people are having these experiences, there is increased need to offer appropriate support for integration so that the positive, potential transformation is reached. This can avoid a potentially faulty diagnosis for mental illness, and unnecessary medication and stigma.
