About me

Hello, I am a Person-Centred Counsellor with over 10 years experience. I work in Greenwich, within the main square. My office is situated directly above Oliver Bonas shop. This is a beautiful, open, calm space, one in which you can speak freely and confidentially about issues that are concerning you.

If you are experiencing feelings of anxiety/concern that are invading your thoughts, talking therapy can be a gentle support in unlocking answers within.  During therapy, I will work with you to safely explore feelings that are otherwise lost to you. I feel the therapy in its authentic, holding, trusting way can help you to make your own discoveries.

In the first session there will be a chance for you to talk over thoughts and feelings, to get a feel of the therapy and how as a counsellor I can work with you, we can at this stage decide what you would like to do next.

I work in an open-ended way, meeting up every week for a 50minute session. We review every 6 weeks to assess how therapy is going for you.

I offer online and face to face therapy sessions, also phone, WhatsApp or FaceTime.

Private Practice 2014- Present day

Working in Greenwich in a beautiful, calm, space, allowing clients to think and breathe. If you're finding certain issues are concerning you, that you are having trouble shaking off, then counselling may be able to help to make sense of feelings surrounding these issues.
I work closely with issues, such as, anxiety and depression, which can be debilitating. I will work safely with you to explore this at a deeper level.

If this is you at present then please don't hesitate to contact me.

I have Personal and Professional Liability insurance.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
