About me
Individual Therapy
I support people in creating long‑term, meaningful change. My approach is directive yet deeply compassionate, helping you understand how and why certain experiences affect you. I offer an ethical, non‑judgemental, and empathic space where you can explore what’s happening beneath the surface.
Clients often describe me as trustworthy, and understanding. Many share that therapy with me increases their emotional awareness, helps them recognise what’s impacting them, and enables them to navigate challenging situations with greater clarity, confidence, and wellbeing.
What I Can Help You With
I work with a wide range of concerns, including:
- Anxiety and Depression
- Relationship Issues
- Family Dynamics
- ADHD (I am diagnosed)
- Work‑Related Stress and Stress Management
- Anger Management
- Self‑Esteem and Self‑Confidence
You’re welcome to bring whatever you’re facing into the therapy room, no issue is too small, too complex, or too unclear to explore together.
What I Bring to the Therapy Space
Our work will be person‑centred, meaning your experiences, priorities, and pace guide the process. Alongside this, I integrate:
- Transactional Analysis
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Attachment‑based approaches
This blend allows us to explore both the deeper patterns shaping your life and the practical steps that support change.
Couples Therapy
I offer a calm, steady space for couples who feel disconnected, stuck in repeating patterns, or unsure how to communicate without things escalating. My role is to help both partners feel safe, heard, and understood so you can begin to rebuild connection together.
In sessions, I support couples to:
- Slow down conversations so both voices can be heard
- Understand what’s happening underneath conflict or withdrawal
- Express emotions and needs more clearly
- Strengthen communication and reduce reactive patterns
- Reconnect with each other in a way that feels secure and respectful
I guide you through conversations that may feel difficult at home, helping you explore what each partner needs to feel valued and supported. Sessions are warm, structured, and boundaried, giving you both the space to speak openly without judgement.
Couples therapy with me is about creating a relationship where you can understand each other more deeply, communicate more effectively, and move forward with greater clarity and connection.
Children’s Therapy
I offer a calm, child‑friendly space where children can explore their feelings safely and at their own pace. My sessions are warm, steady, and predictable, helping children feel comfortable enough to open up, play, and express what’s going on inside.
I support children to:
- Understand and name their emotions
- Build confidence in asking for help
- Develop healthier ways to manage overwhelm, anger, or anxiety
- Strengthen communication with parents, carers, and school
- Feel seen, heard, and understood
I use simple visual tools, gentle conversation, and play‑based approaches to help children make sense of their experiences. Sessions are structured but flexible, meeting each child exactly where they are that day.
Note to Parents/Caregivers
My role isn’t to “fix” the child. Therapy takes time, and trust builds gradually. I keep a clear boundary around the child’s space so they feel safe to share freely. I update parents on themes and progress, while protecting the child’s privacy and the therapeutic relationship.
Children grow best when therapy is steady, predictable, and respectful of their pace. I work alongside families to support what their child needs to feel more regulated, confident, and secure.
