About us
We are a counselling and Psychotherapy Centre based at Wescliff-On-Sea station.
We provide counselling and Psychotherapy for adults, couples and children. We have five therapy rooms including a dedicated space for children and young people.
The Centre has a team of 20 therapists that have all been selected for their professionalism and ethical practice. Our therapists have various specialist areas and come from a variety of training backgrounds. This enables us to provide a bespoke service tailored to your individual needs. We pay attention to every aspect of the therapeutic experience; including our rooms which are all beautifully decorated.
At The Henry Centre we understand that coming to therapy is a very personal decision. Sometimes it is work stress or relationship difficulties. Sometimes it’s and on going issue that has been present for some time. For others it is due to a particular life crisis. We endeavour to make your journey as safe and supportive as possible. From your first point of contact you will be looked after by our team until you are ready to move on.
If you would like to get in contact please call The Centre, you will be contacted within 24 hours.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
