About me
I offer a safe, supportive space to help you process past experiences and understand how they may be affecting your life today.
I have experience and specialise in helping clients heal from trauma and adverse childhood events, navigate relationship difficulties, patterns of attachment and help to build self-esteem and confidence.
Anxiety, self-doubt, or the weight of past experiences can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who you are anymore. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone and things can change.
I help people make sense of what they’ve been through, understand how it’s affecting them today, and gently begin the process of healing.
Together, we explore what’s beneath the surface so you can make sense of your thoughts, break unhelpful patterns, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
If you’re ready to feel calmer, more grounded, and more like yourself again get in touch.
Training, qualifications & experience
I offer long term and short-term, solution-focused work. Both approaches deliver results helping you to move forward.
I hold a BACP accredited degree. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), I work to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, which guides my practice with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to your wellbeing.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel overwhelming, especially if it is your first time seeking support. It is completely normal to have questions before getting started. To help you feel more comfortable we will begin with an Initial Assessment.
The Initial Assessment is a 50 minute session where we explore what has brought you to counselling, your hopes and expectations and any background information you feel is important to share. It’s an opportunity for you to see how it feels to talk with me and consider whether I am the right for you. At the same time, it helps me understand whether I am the right person to support you.
