About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor working in private practice in Wimpole Street, Marylebone and Queen's Park. I also meet clients in a quiet, comfortable setting in Dollis Hill.
I offer a confidential, empathetic and non-judgemental space in which we together explore ways to help you understand yourself better, enhance your wellbeing, and cope with difficult experiences or life events. I am trained in a number of therapeutic modalities and draw on these to tailor sessions to meet you according to your needs.
Further detail on my training and experience is below. I work with many presenting issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, addiction, obsessive compulsive disorder, low self-esteem, trauma and PTSD, ADD and ADHD and relationship issues. If you do not see your particular concern here please do ask.
Therapy is not a quick fix, so if that is what you are seeking this may not be the right place for you. Therapy is a deep process which requires patience and courage and in return it can offer relief, support and a way through challenging and distressing experiences. Therapy can also be a wonderful opportunity to embrace change, personal growth and to explore our potential.
If you are interested in pursuing sessions with me, please email me with a description of your reasons for seeking therapy and I will reply within 24 hours, and usually sooner, to arrange an initial appointment.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have undertaken six years of training in integrative counselling and psychotherapy at the Minster Centre in London and hold a Masters degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling and a postgraduate diploma in integrative counselling. I am BACP registered and UKCP accredited, and fully insured. I have a PhD in Epidemiology, an MA from Cambridge University and an MSc from LSHTM, London University. I also have more than 25 years experience working in the health and wellbeing sector.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
