About me

Individual Therapy and Couples Counselling in Worthing

I am a BACP-accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering both couples counselling and individual therapy for adults. Sessions are available in person in Worthing or online via video call for clients across the UK. I welcome clients from a diverse range of backgrounds and identities.

Individual Counselling

I also offer trauma informed psychotherapeutic counselling for individuals who wish to explore personal or relational issues. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loss, or relationship difficulties, or perhaps you want to understand repeating patterns that keep you feeling stuck.

All of our experiences shape who we are today. By reflecting on how past relationships and life events have influenced your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, greater self-understanding can emerge.

Through a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship, you’ll have space to feel heard and valued without judgement. This process can help you develop self-acceptance, emotional balance, and the confidence to create lasting positive change in your life and relationships.

Couples Counselling

Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also bring challenges. I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where both partners can feel heard and understood. Many couples come to relationship counselling when communication has broken down, when conflict or resentment has built up, or when trust has been damaged.

Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface, helping you both to understand patterns in your relationship, rebuild emotional connection, and find healthier, more fulfilling ways of relating.

Common areas I work with include:

Communication problems and recurring arguments
Emotional distance or loss of intimacy
Rebuilding trust after betrayal or infidelity
Differences in needs, values, or expectations
Navigating parenting challenges, separation, or conscious uncoupling

I welcome couples at any stage of their relationship, whether you want to resolve difficulties, strengthen your bond, or separate more peacefully.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
