About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, stuck, or struggling to make sense of what you're experiencing?
Perhaps you've been managing for a long time, but things have become harder recently, or the ways you've usually coped don't seem to be working as well anymore. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, exam stress, low self-esteem, challenges relating to neurodivergence, or finding it difficult to adjust to changes or circumstances in your life.
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and it takes courage to ask for support. I aim to offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and able to talk openly about what you're going through.
I am an HCPC Registered and Chartered Counselling Psychologist with experience working across NHS services and private practice. I work with adolescents and adults, and take an individualised approach to therapy, recognising that what works for one person may not be right for another.
I draw on a range of psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Systemic approaches. Together, we can explore what you're experiencing, make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find ways of moving forward that feel meaningful and manageable for you.
You may come to therapy with a particular concern or goal in mind, but therapy can also be a space to better understand yourself, your emotions and your relationships, and to develop greater self-awareness along the way. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an important part of this process, and I will work collaboratively with you at a pace that feels comfortable.
I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation, where we can briefly talk about what you're looking for, answer any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
Sessions are offered remotely.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed an MSc in Health Psychology and a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at London Metropolitan University. My research projects have focused on body image, appearance-related concerns, women’s health behaviours and skin cancer prevention.
I have gained extensive experience across a range of NHS services, and I have also completed additional training in relationship, couple and family counselling through Relate/IFT, which informs my understanding of relationship patterns, family dynamics and the wider systems that shape people’s lives.
