About me
I offer a calm, neuro-affirming and accepting environment, with a holistic integrative approach to therapy which comprises your physical, emotional, volitional, rational and spiritual wellbeing. I approach the therapeutic relationship in a non-diet, body-acceptance/neutral perspective. I work to help clients dismantle the effects of diet culture and weight stigma in their lives.
I am trauma informed, and work with issues such as:
- depression (including post-natal depression)
- anxiety (including generalised anxiety disorder, and health anxiety)
- stress
- low self-esteem
- anger
- relationship difficulties (including family estrangement)
- spiritual issues
- bereavement and loss (including miscarriage and abortion).
As an integrative therapist, I combine different psychotherapy modalities such as CBT, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, which means your therapy will be bespoke to your needs. I am also a trained Internal Family Systems Practitioner (Level 2). IFS Practitioners have been officially trained by Internal Family Systems UK or the IFS Institute.
I incorporate Mindfulness, Attachment Theory and Inner Child into my work with individuals.
The Therapeutic Relationship is an integral part of therapy, I offer a reduced fee for our preliminary online session to determine whether we feel working together would be beneficial for you. Text, call or email to book your session.
