About me
Perhaps you've reached a point where your usual ways of coping no longer work. Something keeps repeating — in your relationships, your work, or simply in how you feel day to day — and thinking about it harder doesn't seem to help. Often the body knows it first: tension, restlessness, poor sleep, a kind of flatness that's hard to name.
Therapy with me is not just a conversation. It is a meeting between two people that moves slower and goes deeper than everyday talk. We pay attention not only to the story you tell, but to how you tell it — what happens in your body and your voice as you speak, what gets avoided, what wants to be said but hasn't been. I don't hand out ready-made advice: I believe you hold the key to your own situation, and my role is to help you find it. The work takes time and can be challenging, but it changes things that quick fixes don't reach.
I am a UKCP-registered Gestalt psychotherapist with over seven years in private practice, working in English and Russian. Before psychotherapy I earned a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and I have a particular affinity for analytically-minded clients — engineers, scientists, founders — who are used to solving things by thinking, and find that feelings don't quite respond to that approach. I see individuals, couples and groups, in person in Bristol and online.
If something here resonates, the simplest first step is a free 15-minute video call: no preparation needed, just a chance to ask questions and see whether we are a good fit. Email me and I will reply within 24 hours.
Training, qualifications & experience
Having completed my four-year Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy in Moscow Institute of Gestalt and Psychodrama, I am always on the lookout for new ways to develop my skills and keep learning. I am lucky enough to study with and get regular supervision from some of the best psychotherapy professionals in the world, including those at the Manchester Gestalt Center, New York Gestalt Institute, London Gestalt Center and French Gestalt Institute.
I am a full clinical member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and a qualified member at GPTI (Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute). I am also a member of Stemning Club, Oslo.
Long before becoming a psychotherapist, I earned a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. While I see psychotherapy as being largely grounded in (right-hemispheric) processes like intuition, empathy, and affect regulation, I’ve found that my analytical (left-hemispheric) background provides a subtle but very helpful complement, adding a clear sense of structure to my approach, which is important to balance.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

My practice is deeply rooted in philosophical foundations of Phenomenology and Existentialism, alongside modern clinical and scientific research. I try to get deeper into those and share my thoughts and reflection in my blog.
