About me
Accredited Therapist with NHS Training – Supporting Adults and Couples
Approved by Major Private Health Insurers
Hi, I’m Sayra - an accredited therapist with extensive NHS clinical experience. I support adults and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unseen, and are looking for a safe space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and find a way forward that feels grounded and authentic.
Many of my clients come to therapy after trying to cope alone for a long time. They often feel exhausted by stress, anxiety, past experiences, or complex relationship dynamics. My aim is to offer a space where you don’t have to carry things by yourself and where you feel deeply understood - not judged, dismissed, or told to “just get on with it.”
What I Can Help With
I have experience supporting people with:
- Anxiety, stress, low mood, overthinking
- Trauma and complex trauma (including intergenerational trauma and childhood experiences)
- Burnout and emotional overwhelm
- Identity, belonging, cultural pressures, and intergenerational dynamics
- Relationship difficulties, communication issues, and repeating patterns
- Grief, loss, life transitions, and major life changes
- High‑functioning adults who appear “fine” but feel the opposite inside
Many clients choose to work with me because they want a therapist who understands both emotional complexity and cultural context, including faith, family expectations, migration stories, and the pressures of navigating more than one world.
How I Work
My style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
- EMDR

- Couples therapy
We work together at a pace that feels right for you, exploring patterns, processing challenges, and strengthening your emotional resilience.
What You Can Expect

You can bring whatever you’re holding; you don’t need to minimise or explain away your experience. - Evidence‑based and ethically grounded

I offer support in multiple languages and welcome clients from all backgrounds. I understand the role culture, faith, identity, and family systems can play in emotional well-being. - Flexible appointments
