About me
Hi, I’m Sarah. A BACP-registered therapist and Person-Centred Creative Arts Counsellor with over 13 years’ experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I offer online therapy for teenagers and adults, providing a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings at your own pace.
How Therapy Can Help
People come to therapy for many reasons — to navigate anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or simply to find greater clarity and self-understanding. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy; it’s a way of strengthening your emotional wellbeing, just like physiotherapy helps heal the body.
Therapy can offer you:
- A safe, trusting space to talk
- Greater resilience and coping strategies
- Relief from emotional distress
- A deeper connection to yourself
My Approach
At the heart of my work is the Person-Centred approach. This means you are always central to the process, and I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and presence as you explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Whether through traditional talking therapy or creative methods, sessions are shaped around your needs, helping you find clarity, build self-compassion, and strengthen your inner resilience.
Creative Approaches in Therapy
Alongside traditional talking therapy, I have a deep professional interest in offering creative methods, such as art, imagery, and other expressive techniques, to support emotional exploration. Creative approaches are not only valuable when words feel difficult; they can also deepen insight, uncovering new perspectives and emotional understanding that might not emerge through conversation alone. This work is always optional and introduced sensitively, with the aim of tailoring therapy to your individual needs and ways of expressing yourself. No artistic skills are needed, just curiosity and openness.
If you’d like to find out more, I offer a free initial consultation. You’re warmly welcome to get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
